Tiny Paws, Big Hearts: Five Kittens Looking for Forever Homes at Calhoun County Animal Center

While dozens of dogs wait for adoption, these adorable kittens are also hoping their perfect family finds them.

The Calhoun County Animal Center isn’t just full of dogs looking for homes—there are kittens waiting too, and they’re just as ready for a fresh start.

Meet Henry, Andre, Burt, Huey, and Angel...five playful, curious kittens around 12 to 14 weeks old and ready to find their forever families.

Angel is the only girl of the bunch, while her four brothers are all bringing their own unique personalities to the shelter.

From cuddly lap time to playful pounces, kittens bring energy, fun, and companionship into any home.

At this age, they’re still learning, growing, and bonding quickly with the people around them...making this the perfect time to adopt.

And with the shelter currently caring for so many dogs as well, staff would love nothing more than to see these kittens head home soon, opening up space and easing the load for the animals still waiting.

Whether you’re looking for your first cat, a companion for another pet, or just can’t resist tiny paws and big eyes, one of these kittens could be the perfect fit. Shelter kittens often adjust quickly, and adopting gives them a safe, loving future they might not otherwise have.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a feline friend to your family, now might be the perfect time to stop by and meet them. Sometimes the smallest paws leave the biggest mark on your heart.
